Quality Advantages
Ze-Yi Industrial’s professional electroplating factory specializes in rack electroplating and uses plating solutions complying with EU RoHS directive. Our advantages cover surface finishes, rack electroplating, and eco-friendly electroplating.
Types of plating
Rack plating
The rack plating setup uses racks on which parts to be plated are mounted and immersed in the chemical electroplating bath so as to achieve surface finishing process.

Rack plating production can be manual or automatic.
Advantages: Various types of racks, less limitation, more colors available, and more uniform plated layer.
Barrel plating
Barrel plating is another common method of electroplating process. In this method, the material to be plated is dipped in a polygonal barrel. The material is connected with cathode due to its weight. Electrodeposition of metal is achieved during the rotation of the barrel.

Introduction of process
Corrosion resistance
Lengthening lifespan of products
It refers to an antirust method of spraying Zinc on the surface of iron. Zinc is a metal of high corrosion resistance which can isolate iron from oxygen and water preventing iron from rusting so as to prolong the lifespan of plated parts.
Principle of rustproofing
High abrasion resistance
The Zinc plated layer can isolate iron from oxygen and water. There is a dense film of Zinc oxide on the Zinc plated layer. Zinc oxide is difficult to dissolve in water, so it can protect iron from rusting. Moreover, the structure of Zinc is very special and robust and thus of excellent abrasion resistance.
Zinc + Iron = High ductility
In the process of electroplating of Zinc, chemical reaction of Zinc and Iron occurs and a series of alloys develop and form to make Zinc layer and iron closely combine. As Zinc plated layer is firmly combined with iron or steel beneath, it will not be damaged even the plated material is forged, rolled, extruded, and bent.
Electroplating process
1.Connect the metal added (deposition metal) to the anode, or add the soluble salt of the metal added to the chemical electroplating bath.
2.Attach the substrate material to the cathode.
3.Anode and cathode are connected with electrolyte consisting of positive ion of deposition metal.
4.After power source is supplied, the metal at the anode will discharge electrons. The positive ions in the plating solution will be reduced (get electrons) into atoms at the cathode and accumulate on the surface of the cathode.

The conversion coating agent for conventional hexavalent chromium yellow Zinc plating is used. Combined with chromate plating passivation, the process produces clear reddish green coated appearance on the plated surface.
